This week: Britain’s responsibilities to its Afghan allies. Also, some rather lighter material on the regions of England, and a tube map of the European rail network.

It’s always felt to me like giving a small tip is somehow more insulting than not tipping at all. If someone doesn’t tip, after all, then perhaps they just forgot, or perhaps they’re the sort of tightarse who just doesn’t bother tipping. If someone gives a small tip, though, that’s a statement.
